Spring Fling.
Are you ready for another Spring Fling? We
could never duplicate a day like we had last year but when the BBRC gets
together it is usually fun. I’ve asked Diane Tomassetti if we could once again
invade her space and she has agreed. So this is what I’m proposing this year!
Date:
Sunday May 16, 2010
Time: 1-4
Place: Diane’s House the Baggins End Guest House on Poverty Point.
Food Theme: Picnic items - Salads - tossed, potato, chicken,
pasta….
Large Sandwiches- we can cut up and serve (be creative!)….
Desserts-brownies, cupcakes, cookies…
What would you bring on a picnic!
The BBRC will provide water but you can bring your own beverage.
Parking: you can drop off items at Diane’s house by entering
Poverty Point from Oxford St. and then park at Fhvn High School.
Fun Races: Teams will once again be pulled from a hat.
50/50 Raffle:
Bring a friend or two! This will be a great way to meet BBRC people -
possibly fill spots on your team - Invite new people to meet us and try
out our boats.
What I need are
some volunteers!
People willing to meet me at the Sail Loft grab tables and “stuff”
and set up. Then at the end of the day people to row the boats back and people to clean up and bring the items back to the Sail Loft.
